3.     Venice
step-by-step

A navigation applet to get from point A to point B, using clickable map locations, addresses or places of interest as starting and end points.  Options include: shortest path, least and smallest steps, public transportation, avoid danger zones and high tides.  ADA compliant to cater to mobility and vision impaired users.

4.     Venice
point-to-point

A navigation applet to allow users to define the area/distance wherein they would like to spend X amount of time touching upon as many desired landmarks as possible.  The user will choose types of landmarks (churches, palaces, campi, public art, famous homes, etc).  The system will produce a “traveling salesman” itinerary (with Redfish?) that will touch the best (based on crowsourced peer-reviews) desired landmarks within the allotted time and within the chosen area/distance.
